BUILDING BRIDGES OF LOVE IN 2021

Building Birdges of Love in 2021

Our vision at FCN is to make Christlike disciples through building bridges of love that lead to life! In this letter are details about how we hope to build bridges of love as a church in 2021. Below is information on the 2021 GO Fund, and on the back page you will find information on an exciting opportunity for FCN to help build new bridges of love this year! We ask that you read through this letter with an open heart and prayerfully consider how you can be a part of how God will be leading us as a church body this year! (At the bottom are links to pledge cards to both the GO Fund and Pinckney Church Plant. We ask you please return yours to FCN by January 31st.)

On Sunday, January 10th, we pledged to renew our GO (Giving for Others) Fund Campaign. The GO Fund helps us to give towards global missions, local missions, & ministries outside of our local church walls. Through the GO Fund we fulfill our mission to make Christ like disciples through building bridges of love that lead to life

We thank everyone who gave generously to the GO Fund last year. Our new goal for the GO campaign is $13,900 for the upcoming year. This offering is beyond the regular tithe which is utilized for the normal operating expenses of our local church.

We would ask you to pray about what God would have you to give in order to touch our needy world. Please take time to review the GO Fund financial breakdown and see the ministry opportunities our GO Fund will make possible.

Additionally, there are seasons when God calls us to be the bridge builders, and there are seasons when God calls us to lay the foundations for bridges to be built. In the life of FCN, we are at a foundation-laying moment, with Pastor Joe and Maria set to go and build bridges in Pinckney through the planting of Pinckney Community Church of the Nazarene in October 2021.

As their primary sending church, it is our hope to raise a minimum of $10,000 in Startup Pledges to assist in the church plant’s startup expenses. We thank everyone for their faithful and generous giving to FCN and the GO Fund, and we are excited to embark on a new giving adventure in the Pinckney Church Plant.

We would ask you to pray about what God would have you to give as either a one-time gift, or in the form of a one-year pledge, to the Pinckney Church Plant. Please take time to review the financial breakdown of the startup costs associated with the church plant and see the ministry opportunities your giving will make possible in Pinckney.
